Most Government and educational institutions in New Zealand accept our translations. This includes translations required by New Zealand Immigration (NZIS), New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA), the Courts/Justice Department, Ministry of Primary Industries (MPI), Ministry of Business and Innovation (MBI), Department of Internal Affairs (DIA) and the NZ Transport Agency (NZTA).

Yes, in most instances scans of the originals are acceptable. The exception is where a certified copy of the original is requested. This means you must take your original document to a Justice of the Peace (or other authorised person) and have him/her take a copy of this document, stamp and sign that it is a certified copy, and then provide us with this certified copy. We then affix the translation to this certified copy, stamped with our company seal and signed by our representative.
In almost 100% of cases you will need our stamped and signed translation affixed to a copy of your document; a PDF file is usually not accepted. You can pick up the document from our office, or we can send by track and trace courier. Delivery usually takes one business day, but rural deliveries may take longer.
When transferring personal name spellings from non-English scripts (such as Hindu, Thai or Cryllic) to English there are often several different ways to spell the name in English. It is important that you advise us of the exact accepted English spelling of all named persons in the document we are translating, so this matches with your other documents.
